3 SIGNS YOU SHOULD GET TESTED FOR GLUTEN SENSITIVITY OR CELIAC DISEASE- READ THIS BEFORE GIVING UP ON BREAD AND PASTA.

3 Signs You Should Get Tested for Gluten Sensitivity or Celiac Disease Read this BEFORE you give up bread and pasta. Have you gone gluten-free because you're convinced that the protein is giving you gastrointestinal (GI) issues? If you haven't talked to a doc, that might be a mistake. A new study shows that many people who adopt a gluten-free diet haven't been appropriately tested for celiac disease. Researchers from Eastern Health Clinical School at Monash University and Alfred Hospital in Melbourne, Australia, recruited 144 people who said they suffered from non-celiac gluten sensitivity (NCGS). Turns out, 44 percent of participants had initiated a gluten-free diet without any medical supervision—and 69 percent of them hadn't gotten the necessary testing for celiac disease. (It's important to get tested by a doc before you start a gluten-free routine because it's hard to tell if the protein is a problem for you after it's already been eliminated from your system.) MORE: 9 Things You Should Never Say to Someone Who Eats Gluten-Free Another interesting fact from the study: Seventy-two percent of participants didn't even end up meeting the criteria for NCGS. While 62 percent of this group fell into the category because researchers couldn't rule out celiac disease for them, 24 percent continued to have gastrointestinal issues despite following a gluten-free diet (irritable bowl syndrome or a wheat allergy can both cause similar symptoms). The bottom line: You shouldn't be self-diagnosing a gluten issue. If you think you might have one, ask about the test for celiac disease so you don't have complications down the road. How do you know if you should book an appointment? Gina Sam, M.D., director of the Mount Sinai Gastrointestinal Motility Center at The Mount Sinai Hospital, says these symptoms are telltale signs: You have chronic GI symptoms. These include severe or recurrent diarrhea, weight loss, and abdominal distension or bloating. You're deficient in iron, folate, or vitamin B12. Since untreated celiac disease damages certain parts of the intestine where these vitamins are absorbed, deficiencies can be a tip-off that you have an issue. You have family history. Even if you're asymptomatic, first-degree relatives of patients with a confirmed diagnosis of celiac disease should definitely get tested.

We know when you are first getting started, you may feel overwhelmed with all the training and think “there is just way too much, I’m never gonna get to start working”.  First, that’s a normal feeling and second, you do not have to wait until you are done with your training to get started working.  Don’t expect to know everything before you start working, you will learn as you earn.  Hands on is always the best training.  A very common mistake that we see, is people spending entirely too much time training and not working.  So, we encourage you to start working tomorrow whether you know everything yet or not.  You can do it!!
There are so many ways to generate leads.  Each of my new IBOs are furnished leads to start but this is probably the most important step you need to master right away!
If you don’t have enough people to talk to in the beginning but are eager to work, let your enroller know that you are ready and ask if they could send you some leads to get started working with!  We want to help you succeed and we are all very happy to send leads to those that are working!  Here are a few action steps that you can start implementing today to get on a fast track to RSD:
    Online Methods:
For a sample list of Free Online Classified Sites and some Sample Ads please Visit our training site at: http://www.freedomathometraining.com/ password: iampowerful
Once you are on the training site, go to the “Marketing/Reference Library” and click on “Online Advertising” Also, for more sample websites, ads and scripts that we use, check the files that I have sent to you or ask me!
For member leads, we recommend placing ads on sites like Craigslist, Oodle, etc. Post under the “services” section or “community”.  Keep the ad simple!  And pick smaller cities so that you are not charged a fee. For IBO leads you can use the same sites but put them under “customer service”.
    Local Advertising:
For local advertising, we recommend placing flyers, business cards and brochures around town.(offline marketing)   So you will need to get your materials in place if you plan to work your local market.  You can find some great flyers on the training site that you can print off on your printer at home. We recommend the dental 1/3 flyers (so you can easily place them around town) you can order 250 free business cards at: www.vistaprint.com  For additional marketing material samples for Vistaprint, click on the Marketing Samples tab on this site.
Also, there is a grand opening e-mail on the training site that you can e-mail out to everyone you know letting them know you have started a business so you can let them know what you are offering.  These are awesome!!!  Even if they don’t enroll right away, your name will come to mind if someone needed benefits in the future! Many of us still have enrollments trickling in from the e-mails we sent out to our family and friends. So, awesome!
    What to Say, Script, Presentation:
Okay, now that you are generating leads you need to know what to say when they call or you’re ready to call them. To learn everything you have to know about the company, you need to pick a script from the training site so when a prospect asks you a question, you can answer them.  All the scripts are great but it’s important to find one that kind of fits your personality and easy for you to remember; if you are planning to give full presentations on the phone to your prospects about our opportunity.
We have a wealth of opportunity and member scripts available to us, ask me and I will send you additional ones that may not be on your training site. We have two methods that work great and we highly recommend to anyone that is really crunched for time. #1 is the “Overview Method” and does not involve full presentations over the phone!  #2 is my adapted script based on international trainer and mentor Dani Johnson.  If you are interested in learning about the details of these methods, let me know and I will be happy to provide this information for you!
    Training:
As you are generating leads and talking to people every day about the biz opp or about the benefits, it’s important to keep refining your skills.  I encourage you to continue listening to a minimum of 2-3 training calls per week.  Staying plugged in to our training is HUGE!!!  All of us leaders still listen to training calls every week.  Until we are #1 in this company, we still need training!   Here is the link for the FAHT weekly calendar:http://www.brownbearsw.com/freecal/FreedomTeam
    Stay Connected:
Also, it’s extremely important to stay connected to your enroller and your upline.  None of us can imagine where we would be in our businesses if we hadn’t stayed in touch with our enroller or upline on a daily or weekly basis.  The ones that keep in touch with us are the ones promoting! It makes all the difference!
Well, you now have a great head start on your path to RSD!!  We know you can and will do this!  You have greatness in you, that is why you’re here with us!!!!  We believe in you!  Most importantly, we are here for you to help you, to train you and to guide you so you can succeed!
If you have any questions, just send them our way, we are always happy to help!

    What inspires you??

If you’re anything like me then you often see yourself somewhat contented with your life the way things are, but often you look around you and dream of what your life would be if only you did things a little differently.
We all aspire for something deeper and more meaningful. To fulfill your purpose, to become more successful that you ever imagined.
But life gets in the way. There are kids to take care of, bills that need to be paid, jobs we need to go to and so on. Before you know it we are so far off track that we have no idea where the time went or how we ended up where we are. Broken, tired and still the dream persists...
10 questions you should ask to yourself: a preparation to self-improvement
    1. What do I really want?
Or as I like to put it, what do I want to be when I grow up, is an age old question. There are so many things that need to be accomplished, so many things to do, but time is always limited.
Find something that you are love to do, something that brings you joy, peace and is of value to others. Be persistent and never, ever give up on your dreams.
    2. Why should I change?
We are in a era of redefining 'self', or at least that's what all of the magazines, websites and TV shows are saying. What would be the outcome if you do change, what would be the outcome if you don't change?
If we’ve learned one thing in our short time here on this earth, it is that change is inevitable. It is to be expected, it is natural. Seasons change, circumstances change. How do you handle new challenges/obstacles when they arise?
    3. What's in it for me?
When we experience difficult and troubling times, its hard to see the brighter side. Choosing to ignore the positive side of an event, does not mean it doesn't exist. You have to look for it!
Whatever you focus on becomes larger and expands. Focus on the positive and you'll enjoy that experience, and you’ll learn from it as well. Focus on the negative, and you’ll sink deeper and deeper into a state of loneliness and hopelessness and you may even miss some key information that you need in order to grow and create.
    4. Am I comfortable with who I am?
There's always the easy way and the right way when it comes to deciding what goes with which shoes, or purse or an outfit. Variety is key and not everyone can be the same or have the same destiny. Learn and grow into who you were meant to be.
    5. Have I done enough for myself?
Have you, or is there something more you want to do? Discontentment in every aspect can be dangerous in large doses, but in small amounts you'll be able to see and do stuff you could never imagine doing. And remember, you grow so much more, when you have new and meaningful experiences.
    6. Am I happy at where I am today?
Dig deep and get to the core of your feelings on this one. Identify many areas, not just one where you truly are happy. Are you a good parent, sibling, aunt, uncle, bean counter or button pusher? Its doesn't matter what it is, identify it and then do more of it!
    7. Am I appealing to the opposite sex?
Love your body. We all have things about ourselves that we'd like to change. If you're not where you would like to be, set a plan and work on it. Whether you shape-up, updated your wardrobe, get that new haircut,or even your attitude towards people, you should always remember that you should do this to benefit yourself and not because it was forced upon you by the opinion of others.
    8. How much could I have?
How much do you dream you can have? There is no such things as having to much or too little, but there is such a thing as having a limiting mindset.
Are you willing to work for your dreams or are you okay with being where you are, letting your dreams fade away.
    9. What motivates You?
What motivates you? It's an answer you have to find out for yourself. There are so many things that can make everyone happy, but to choose one of the may be the hardest part. It's not like you can't have one serving of your favorite food in a buffet and that's it. Just try it piece by piece.
    10. What Really Inspires you?

The Difference Between Job income and Residual Income

I would like  to share some information with you to consider your options to there full potential.
Before I started working at home, I really had no idea about Residual income.
As I researched  about the subject, I had found how much more powerful Residual income is than getting paid at a job.

I hope this article helps you as you move forward on your search.
If you are out there in the corporate world holding down a job you may never have thought about the difference between earning residual versus linear income.

    So what’s the difference?

Let me ask the same question a different way. Would you rather get paid for your own time and efforts or receive a share of other people’s time and efforts?

Let’s look at a couple of LINEAR income (job income) examples first:

If you have a job and get paid hourly wages, that’s called linear income. You put in your time and you get paid for the hours you work. If you have a day off or you are sick you don’t get paid. Doctors, lawyers or anyone who is self-employed earns a linear income as well. If a doctor doesn’t see patients or goes on vacation, he doesn’t get paid.

Now let’s take a look at some examples of RESIDUAL income:

Elvis made a lot of records during his lifetime.  Although he’s been dead for a long time now, every time one of his songs plays on the radio his family still receives “royalties.”
The same goes for movie stars. Regardless of how long ago they made the movie, every time it plays on TV or is sold on a DVD they receive royalties for it. Just like Elvis, they get paid over and over for it forever.

You may ask, …”Well how does earning residual income
vs linear income relate to me??”

If you have a home based business you are creating a “royalty income” aka “residual income” of your own. You do something once, like acquiring a new customer for your company, and you will get paid on that customer as long as he or she stays with you. Every time that customer places an order, you get paid a percentage.
You can also leverage your time and efforts by inviting people to join your team and teach them to do the same … acquiring new customers for your company. Then you also get paid a percentage on their efforts.
Residual income happens when this royalty income starts to grow. Let’s say your customers love your products so much they start telling their family and friends and they all become your customers too. And then they in turn tell all of their friends as well. That’s kind of like how AOL grew so big so fast. Word of mouth is the fastest and most cost effective way of acquiring new customers.
Once this happens, things take on a life of their own. You can’t stop your business from growing, even if you tried.  When you’re sick or on vacation your business just keeps growing as one happy customer tells another.
Now, that’s the difference between trading time for money like with linear income, where you work a certain number of hours and get paid for those hours. And residual income where you do something once and get paid for it over and over again and also where you leverage your time with others.

Again, the question … would you rather earn residual income or linear income?

If you answered RESIDUAL INCOME than I would suggest you start working on that. Start today! You can do it part-time while you are still earning a linear income from your job.  Commit a certain amount of hours to work at home every week.  Set realistic goals. Remember, you eat an elephant one bite at a time. Be consistent. Be patient. And never, ever give up.
I love this quote by Jim Rohn: “Work full-time in your job and part-time on your fortune.”

    10 Job Sectors in Decline

What to Do If Your Industry Is on the Way Out

By Margaret Steen, for Yahoo! HotJobs
People in almost every profession may feel like jobs are scarce right now. For many industries, this is a temporary situation. But jobs in some fields are expected to continue disappearing even after the economy picks up.
Is your industry on the decline? The federal government projects that a number of industries will continue to lose jobs thru 2018.
"You can't sit around and wait for news to come out about what's going to happen to your industry," said Alexandra Levit, author of New Job, New You. "You have to be proactive about this."
    Disappearing Jobs
Here's a list of the top 10 industries expected to lose the most jobs by 2018 -- and what to do if you're working in one of them:
    • Motor Vehicle Parts Manufacturing: Projected to lose 18.6 percent of its 544,000 jobs.

    • Department Stores: Projected to lose 10.2 percent of the 1.56 million jobs they had in 2008.

    • Semiconductor Manufacturing: Projected to lose 33.7 percent of the 432,000 jobs it had in 2008.

    • Postal Service: Projected to lose 13 percent of the 748,000 jobs it had in 2008.

    • Printing and Related Jobs: Projected to lose 16 percent of its 594,000 jobs.

    • Cut-and-Sew Apparel Manufacturing: Projected to lose 57 percent of its 155,000 jobs.

    • Newspaper Publishers: Projected to lose 24.8 percent of its 326,000 jobs.

    • Mining Support Jobs: Projected to lose 23.2 percent of its 328,000 jobs.

    • Gas Stations: Projected to lose 8.9 percent of its 843,000 jobs.

    • Wired Telecom: Projected to lose 11 percent of its 666,000 jobs.
Semiconductors are one of several manufacturing industries on the declining list. Because so many different types of manufacturing jobs are disappearing, it will not be easy to simply get another manufacturing job. You may need to develop some completely new skills.
Levit suggests beefing up your resume with volunteer work so you can show skills that will be applicable in other industries. For example, helping a volunteer organization deal with its members can show that you have client-service skills.
She also recommends being innovative to keep your job. "You need to be front and center with management, giving them suggestions for how they can remain competitive."
    Are You Affected?
What should you do if your industry is on this list? First, don't panic. The job declines in these industries are projected to take place over a decade. And many jobs -- a majority in most of these industries -- will remain even after 10 years.
Still, it's good to start thinking about Plan B. Build your savings and start researching what other industries might be able to use your skills.
If you're nearing retirement and had been planning to move into a different field, you might want to make the move earlier. And if you have many years of work ahead of you, you should consider seriously whether it's feasible for you to stay in your industry for the long term.

"Start sharpening your transferrable skills," Levit said. These include project management, budgeting and customer service. "You want to be developing a resume that showcases the skills you have in all those areas."

Consumer driven healthcare has gotten everyone's attention in one form or another. I never imagined that 6 years ago I would be working with a great company from home providing  a solution to the woes of the new Affordable Healthcare Act.  It started out for me as a quest for a legitimate home based business. It takes many years of trying things that do not work, and are not profitable to find a great opportunity. How else are you going to make money at home, while keeping your family first. No more punching a time clock, answering to the demands of an unreasonable "boss", just to work a j.o.b. "just over broke" where, just to find out that you will have little money saved for your retirement.
